Our team will be supporting the ongoing work of David
Kereto with the Maasai people.
Project: Practical work,
children's clubs, basic medical health care and education.
Narok Town Council have given a 2 acre plot for an
orphanage. Our team will help build the children's home
that will be a sanctuary for orphaned children and girls
wanting to escape the tribal rituals of Female
Genital Mutilation ( FGM ) and forced marriages. David
Kereto, a Maasai warrior himself, has this as his number
one objective for 2010. The home will also take children
orphaned from HIV/AIDS infected families, other orphans
whose parents died of other natural causes, street
children, disabled children and may be children from very
poor, needy and unemployed families.
We need as much help as we can get!
